Adverbial Clause

Adverbial Clause is Clause (clause) that functions as adverb, which describes the verb.
Adverbial Clause usually classified based on "the meaning / intent" of the conjunction (conjunctive that preceded it).
The types of adverbial Clause:
1. Clause of Time
Clause which shows the time, made by using conjunction (conjunctive) such as after, before, no sooner, while, axles, etc. ..
Example:
            • Shut the door before you go out.
            • You begin May Pls (ever) you are ready.
            • While he was walking home, he saw an accident.
            • No sooner she ENTERED Than Had he Gave an order.
2. Clause of Place
Clause that indicates the place, usually created by using the conjunction such as Nowhere, nowhere, anywhere, Wherever, etc..
Example:
            • The guard Stood Nowhere he was positioned.
            • Where there is a will, there is a way.
            • Where there is poverty, there We find discontent and unrest.
            • Go Nowhere you like.
3. Clause of Contrast (or Concession)
Clause which shows the contradiction between the two incidents / events that are related. Usually made by using such conjunction although, though, even though, whereas, even if, in spite of, as the time, etc..
Example:
            • As the time you were the resource persons sleeping, We Were working hard.
            • Mary wanted to stop, whereas I wanted to go on.
            • Although it is late, We'll stay a little longer.
            • He is very friendly, even if he is a clever student.
4. Clause of Manner
Clause which shows the cars how a job is done or event occurs. Usually made by using conjunction (conjunctive) such as, how, like, in that, etc..
Example:
            • He did as I toll uterus.
            • You May finish it how you like.
            • May They beat us again, like They did in 1978.
5. Clause of Purpose and Result
Clause which shows the relationship intent / objectives and outcomes. Usually made by using conjunctions such as (in order) that, so that, in the hope that, to the end that, lest, in case, etc..
Example:
            • They Went to the movie early (in order) to find the best seats.
            • She Bought a book so (that) Could she learn Bahasa.
            • He is saving his money so he he That May take a long vacation.
            • I am working night and day in the Hope that I cans finish this book soon.
6. Clause of Cause and Effect
Clause which shows the relationship of cause and effect. There are several patterns to form this kind Clause.
Example:
            • It was so cold yesterday That I Did not Want To swim.
            • She has Such exceptional Abilities That everyone is jealous of her.
            • It was a hot day Such That We decided to stay Indoors. OR It was so hot a day That We decided to stay Indoors.
In addition, to reveal the relationship of cause and effect (cause and effect) can be used in other patterns, namely:
1. Using the Preposition (preposition) like Because of, due to, due to the fact that, etc.
Example:
            • Because of the cold weather, We stayed home. (= We stayed home Because of the cold weather)
            • Due to the cold weather, We stayed home. (= We stayed home due to the cold weather)
2. Using conjunctions (conjunction) as Because, since, now, that, as, as long as, inasmuch as
Example:
            • Since he's not Interested in classical music, he decided not to go to the concert.
            • Because he was sleepy, he Went to bed.
3. Using transition words like therefore, consequently.
Example:
            • Alex failed the test Because he Did not study.
            • Alex Did not study. Therefore, he failed the test.
            • Alex Did not study. Consequently, he failed the test.
7. Clause of Condition
Clause which shows the requirements between the two events (events) are related. Usually made by using conjunctions like if, even if, unless, in the event that, or in the event that, in case, provided (that), Providing (that), on condition that, if only, suppose (that), supposing ( that), etc..
Example:
            • If I see uterus, I will from uterus invite to the party tomorrow.
            • She Would forgive her husband everything, if only he Would come back to her.

THE GOOD EXPERIENCE


The best experience I had when I was stepping on a bench high school. At that school I signed up a championship match between Central Jakarta, in the match a lot of schools that signed up, but I do not feel afraid and scared but I'm getting a lot of school spirit because that register the game.
            Two weeks later the game was started, I attended a football game with friends, and I remember my school once the first game against SMAN 21, I was excited and pray that this first game, can I win with friends to pass on the game next.
seteh game ended, my school finally won his first game against SMAN 21 with the score 2-0, it's all thanks to the cooperation and team spirit to win the game.
           After walking for three days, I finally entered school in the semifinals. In this semi-final match I saw there are some very good schools in the game soccer ball. but it does not make me afraid and scared, but I'm getting really encouraging because in the semi-final match my school against schools that are well known soccer ball with the game in the Jakarta area.
The next day I started the semifinal game against Gonzaga High School, before the game started me and my other friends first pray and stay motivated for the game we can win this semi-final. After the game ended, with a happy me and other friends who can win this semi-final match with the score 2-1, and can advance to the final game of the final.
          In two days later the final match begins, at my school finals are played with high school Alix, in the finals this time many who watched, I began to increase spirit in this final game, for the championship game between these Central Jakarta can I win with my friends the other, so as to bring my school's name became famous in the area of Central Jakarta. Before the game started, as usual me and my other friends first of all pray that this final match we can win.
Finally the game began, this time a very tight match once, in the first round no one can even print a goal. during the second half, we had to change the strategy to be able to score a goal, in minute 80, I finally scored a goal and make my school excel. Finally when the game was over, and ended with a score of 1-0 for my school, there I was very happy to be able to give a goal for my school and can win this final game, and I also do not forget to thank God who has been listening prayer prayers of our football team and also other friends who have been playing well and full of spirit, so that we can win the school championship game between the regions of Central Jakarta.
          In those games I can conclude, that in a match our enemies, but outside of the game we had as friends. With the match I could get a lot of experience and contacts of friends from other schools.

KEBUDAYAAN  JAKARTA

Di Jakarta dan sekitarnya berangsur-angsur terjadi pembauran antar suku bangsa, bahkan antar bangsa, dan lambat laun keturunannya masing- masing kehilangan ciri-ciri budaya asainya. Akhirnya sernua unsur itu luluh lebur menjadi sebuah kelompok etnis baru yang kemudian Betawi etnis baru yang kemudian dikenal dengan sebutan masyarakat Betawi.
Dari masa ke masa masyarakat Betawi terus berkembang dengan ciri-ciri budayanya yang makin lama semakin mantap sehingga mudah dibedakan dengan kelompok etnis lain. Namun bila dikaji pada permukaan wajahnya sering tampak unsur-unsur kebudayaan yang menjadi sumber asalnya.
Jadi tidaklah mustahil bila bentuk kesenian Betawi itu sering menunjukkan persarnaan dengan kesenian daerah atau kesenian bangsa lain.
Bagi masyarakat Betawi sendiri segala yang tumbuh dan berkembang ditengah kehidupan seni budayanya dirasakan sebagai miliknya sendiri seutuhnya, tanpa mempermasalahkan dari mana asal unsur-unsur yang telah membentuk kebudayaannya itu. Demikian pulalah sikap terhadap keseniannya sebagai salah satu unsur kebudayaan yang paling kuat mengungkapkan ciriciri ke Betawiannya, terutama pada seni pertunjukkannya.
Salah satu bentuk pertunjukan rakyat Betawi yang sering ditampilkan dalarn pesta-pesta rakyat adalah ondel-ondel. Nampaknya ondel-ondel memerankan leluhur atau nenek moyang yangsenantiasa menjaga anak cucunya atau penduduk suatu desa.
Ondel-ondel yang berupa boneka besar itu tingginya sekitar ± 2,5 m dengan garis tengah ± 80 cm, dibuat dari anyarnan barnbu yang disiapkan begitu rupa sehingga mudah dipikul dari dalarnnya. Bagian wajah berupa topeng atau kedok, dengan rambut kepala dibuat dari ijuk. Wajah ondel-ondel laki-laki di cat dengan warna merah, sedang yang perempuan dicat dengan warna putih Bentuk pertunjukan ini banyak persamaannya dengan yang terdapat di beberapa daerah lain.
Di Pasundan dikenal dengan sebutan Badawang, di Jawa Tengah disebut Barongan Buncis, di Bali barong landung. Menurut perkiraan jenis pertunjukan itu sudah ada sejak sebelum tersebarnya agama Islam di Pulau Jawa. Semula ondel-ondel berfungsi sebagai penolak bala atau gangguan roh halus yang gentayangan. Dewasa ini ondel-ondel biasanya digunakan untuk to menambah semarak pesta- pesta rakyat atau untuk penyambutan tamu terhormat, misainya pada peresmian gedung yang baru selesai dibangun. Betapapun derasnya arus modernisasi, ondel-ondel ternyata masih tetap bertahan dan menjadi penghias wajah kota metropolitan Jakarta.
Dalam dunia musik Betawi terdapat perbauran yang harmonis antara unsur priburni dengan unsur Cina, dalam bentuk orkes gambang kromong yang tampak pada alat-alat musiknya. Sebagian alat seperti gambang,kromong, kemor, kecrek, gendang, kempul dan gong adalah unsur pribumi.
